Coffee in-between

It's coffee in between our two morning services this Sunday, why not come early or stay late and enjoy coffee and cake or muffins and more importantly, the chance to chat to people you might not normally see!

This Sunday is the first Sunday of Lent.
What are you doing for Lent?
Why not download the #LiveLent app from Church House Publishing. Click the image for more information and how to download.
You can also sign up for 40 Acts, and take the 40-day generosity challenge. Get ideas for doing something generous every day. Sign up as a family and get everyone involved, or as an individual.

Lent Appeal

Lent began on 14 February, Ash Wednesday. During Lent, we'll be handing out envelopes with something for you to read and think about.
If you can, please hand your envelope (sealed) to the chaplain, one of the church officers, or put it in the collection.

A joint meeting with our friends from the Eglise Réformée

Last Monday Christ Church council met, and for the first time, welcomed the Pastor of the Eglise Protestante Unie de France (the Protestant church) and some of their council members to a joint meeting.
The Rueilly agreement, between the Church of England and the EPUF was signed in 2001: see more at this link. We have always had good relations with our friends and neighbours in the Place du Temple, but we are now making this friendship more concrete through joint projects.
There will be more news on our website soon.
