Christ Church Lille update on Coronavirus concerns
Keep us, good Lord,
under the shadow of your mercy.
Sustain and support the anxious,
be with those who care for the sick,
and lift up all who are brought low;
that we may find comfort
knowing that nothing can separate us from your love
in Christ Jesus our Lord
Dear [subscriber:firstname | default:reader]
Information and guidance on the current pandemic has changed rapidly over the last few days.
As the situation evolves, we will keep you informed; we rely on everyone to play their part in keeping each other safe, so that we can continue to worship together.
It may be that in the coming days, we have to cancel all services, we'll keep you updated but for now, please follow the guidelines.
We are working on ways to join in worship at a distance and will let you know in a future message.
Read on for information about:
Sunday Services - Coffee and Tea - International Evening - Groups - French Government guidelines

Sunday Services

Services will continue for this Sunday (15 March), but this may change by next week; the situation will be kept under review.
Please use hand sanitiser on entering the church. We need you to keep at least 1m50 distance from each other at all times.
And see the guidelines in the poster below.

Holy Communion

- We will continue to share the bread, but not the wine.

Sharing the Peace

- Please share the Peace without touching

Coffee and tea

We will no longer serve tea and coffee at any time on our premises, sorry.

International Evening (21 March)

We are sorry to announce that this event has been postponed until a time when we can enjoy a social evening together without concerns for health risks.

All groups are cancelled for the time being. This includes Sunday Club, Playgroup, Men's and Women's groups

A note from Debbie

Although these are challenging times, it is also the opportunity for us to keep in contact with and pray for each other. Please pray for our church community and all who are worried or unwell. With specific regard to me visiting you, we are trying, wherever possible, to create a telephone/e-mail network so that we can keep in contact with each other and with the most vulnerable members of our community so that face-to-face visits will only occur if there is a very particular reason to do so. May God bless each of us.
