Dear [subscriber:firstname | default:reader]
June went rather quickly and it's already July. We won't talk of holidays, everything is upside down at the moment, but we hope you get the chance to relax after these difficult months.
There will be two more services in the church - on 5 and 12 July - before the summer break. We're still being very careful about everyone's health, so please register in advance, just use the link below.
How to register for a service:
Don't forget you can still watch the weekly Sunday worship on video, which is published for you even when the church is open. Direct link from the website homepage.

Invitation from Bishop Robert to join a Pan-European Service

There will be a Diocesan-wide act of worship on Tuesday 7 July at 18:30 (French time) to mark our Pilgrimage through lockdown. Everyone is welcome to join in by watching the live stream on YouTube. The link will be posted on the Diocesan website . (At the time of writing, the link is not yet available)

What's happening from 13 July to 22 August?

Sunday morning services will continue on video and we have some guest worship leaders, so please support them too and watch the video (at a time that suits you, of course).
There is a direct link from the home page of the website which is posted every week on Saturday evening.

Taking a break

The Mosaic evening services have ended for now, so has the Ladies' group. The Men's group have an online meeting on Saturday morning 4 July. Contact Tom for further information and for the meeting link mensgroup@christchurchlille.fr
Francine would like to remind families about the Sunday Club padlet for lots of resources https://christchurchlille.fr/what-we-do/sunday-club/ or contact sundayclub@christchurchlille.fr for more information.

Looking forward to the autumn

  • Church services start again on 23 August, you'll still need to reserve a place
  • No Pavement café for us this year; we'll be looking at how to make up for the loss of income as soon as we can hold events again
  • We're planning to open the church for the "Journées du Patrimoine" (Heritage Days) on Saturday afternoon 19 September. Some of the posters and the video prepared for the 150th anniversary celebrations will be on display for visitors, and we may be offering tea and cake, so volunteers will be needed.
  • Our AGM will be held on 27 September after morning service
You don't need cash

Thank you everyone who continues to support our church through planned giving, or who has sent a donation.
It means we can carry on. Full details of all the ways to give are on our Giving page. (you can use the QR code for fast access to the page) Thank you!
