Christ Church Lille Newsletter
Dear [subscriber:firstname | default:reader]
It's Braderie weekend - except that there's no Braderie this year!
If you're missing our famous pavement café, read on to find out how to enjoy a piece of virtual cake and a drink.
And a special thought for everyone heading back to school, especially at this difficult time.
What's in this week's newsletter:
- Church service on 30 August
NEW - Our virtual pavement café
- Student online marketplace
- Support for our ministry and mission
- Dates for the diary
NEW - Reader's corner
There will be a service in church on Sunday morning 30 August, you'll need to reserve a place. Here's the link for you to do that.
You can use the same link to reserve for any of the Sunday morning services in September, too.

Mosaic Evening services won't be starting again just yet, however; please contact churchoffice@christchurchlille.fr if you'd like more information.
Please note, the drink and cake are not real, they're virtual!

Buy your virtual tea or coffee and cake online

No Braderie café, sorry. Why not buy a virtual drink and a piece of cake (€5) instead? Just click the "Buy now" button, and you’ll go to our payment gateway, choose how much to give and the method of payment and you’re all set!
You can buy one for a friend, too ...

Every year, some students arrive in Lille without basic supplies, and we would like to help these under-resourced students get off to a good start.
If you have any basic living items (bedding, curtains, towels, kitchen utensils etc) that are in good and clean condition, and you are prepared to give away for free, please contact Maggie at churchoffice@christchurchlille.fr or visit our church website for more information and to find out how our Student Online Market Place works. Please DO NOT bring your items to church.
You don't need cash

Although we have kept expenses down, normal running costs continue. Thank you to everyone who gives to sustain the life, mission and ministry of this church. Your gifts are very much welcomed.
It means we can carry on. Full details of all the ways to give are on our Giving page. (you can use the QR code for fast access to the page) Thank you!

For your diary

  • MOSAIC evening services are starting again on Sunday evening 6 September. But the same safety regulations apply as in the morning, and places are limited. Contact churchoffice@christchurchlille.fr for more information.
  • "Journées du Patrimoine" (Heritage Days) on Saturday afternoon 19 September. If you can volunteer that afternoon, let us know.

Our Annual General Meeting

For full details please go to this page.
We are taking care of everyone's health, so those on the Electoral Roll will need to register. They will receive an invitation, but anyone else, please contact electoralroll@christchurchlille.fr
