Dear [subscriber:firstname | default:reader]
School has finished, and some of you will be going on holiday. But we hope everyone will have the chance to relax a little over the summer, even if you are not going away.
We'll still be here!
7 July: Third Sunday after Trinity

The church calendar is on our website, and all the services and readings are shown there. Also on the calendar are major works and the events taking place.
Don't forget that for full details of forthcoming events, it's easy to consult this page on our website.
Our friends at the Conseil Oecumenique des Eglises du Doyenné de Lille organise a welcome for young unaccompanied migrants on a regular basis. From 5-19 August it is the turn of the church in Villeneuve d'Ascq and they are short of volunteers - mainly for meals and for being on duty overnight. We don't have any other details but if you are around and think you can help, please contact them directly: mngourlet@neuf.fr

Braderie planning

Have you signed up to help yet? Please volunteer for at least one 2-hour slot on Saturday and/or Sunday 31 August- 1 September.
At the moment, we are particularly short of helpers behind the scenes; we need you!
Contact braderie@christchurchlille.fr to volunteer.
More details coming soon.

If you are staying in Lille this summer, please note that line 2 of the metro (in red below) will be disrupted while they modernise some of the guide rails. A bus will replace the metro between these stations:
27 - 30 July: between Porte des Postes and Gare Lille Flandres
3 - 20 August: between Saint Philibert and Porte des Postes.
