CCL GDE Braderie 2018 Saturday (32)-opt
Are you ready? We are (nearly) there.
Thanks to everyone who has signed up to help, and to all those who have made delicious cakes.
See below for information about transport and travel over the weekend.

It's not too late to offer your help

  • Sign up for a 2-hour slot (or several!) at a time that suits you.
  • Make some cakes
Here's the sign-up form

I've made some cakes, what do I do with them?

The church hall will be open for you to deliver your baking:
Thursday 29 August 17h30 - 19h30
Friday 30 August 10h - 12h
(Sorry for the error in the dates in our previous newsletter, but it's definitely Thursday and Friday!)

All baking must be labelled with the type of cake and list of ingredients please.

Please remember

There will be no ACCESS by car or bus after 7 pm (19:00) on Friday 31 August until Monday morning.
No PARKING is allowed near the church from 1 am (01:00) on Friday 31 August until Monday morning.

Wondering about how to get there?

  • The Lille metro will run non-stop between Saturday 05:00 and Sunday night (00:30 on Monday morning)
  • The tram will run non-stop from the first tram on Saturday morning to the last tram on Sunday night.
  • The number of buses will be increased to get you to Lille, but there will be no buses running within the braderie area from Friday to Sunday.

Apart from the usual tickets, there are also special 1-day and 2-day passes.
This useful website also has information on TER trains and on Park-and-Ride, if you're coming by car.
Click the plan for a full-size version on the official Lille website, showing the different areas and access points.
We need to raise funds so we can continue our work in Lille: we don't have any outside sources of income so it's up to us.
But it's especially a time to come together, a time for community and a time for fun. And a time to show all our visitors what a wonderful place Christ Church Lille is!
