The website Bible Gateway enables you to see any of the readings on line, and in any of 50 languages.
In church, we use the NIV (UK) version.

Next Sunday 3 June, Alice and Paul Thieffry will be baptised at the 10:30 service. Please pray for them as they begin their Christian journey with us.

Church Community Lunch

Remember that this Sunday you can join use for our bring and share lunch after the morning service. Bring some food to share if you can.

Quiz night

We had a great time at the Quiz Night last Saturday, good fun and good food, too!
We'll be running another one in the autumn, so look out for a date.

News from the Diocesan Synod

Once a year, clergy and lay representatives from all over this huge Diocese meet together to make decisions about the way the Diocese is managed and run.
One of the themes this year is the Environment and whether we should become an Eco Diocese. This film was shown; it looks at the work of the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, who is bringing together people from different religions in a common goal, to care for our planet. It lasts about 40 minutes and is very moving: do take time to watch it.

News about ordinations in our Dicoese

See the attached letter from Bishop David.
Remember: The drop-in café will be closed on 6 June
Back on 13 June, hope to see you then?
