Week of Prayer for Christian Unity

If you missed the free concert yesterday, remember you can hear some of the music in this series of videos on the Diocese of Lille YouTube channel
The week ends with an ecumenical service on Thursday 26th, but you will want to know that Canon Debbie is taking part in a conference/debate on Tuesday 24th.
More details in the poster below, and you can find full details of all the services and events on the Diocèse de Lille website

Grow your own

As part of our sustainability initiative, we will be growing cress, which is ready to eat in about 5-6 days.
See this page on our website, but if you come along on Sunday we'll provide you with some seeds and a starter kit!

A Good Read

Keith B. Burrell, a Reader at Trinity Church, Lyon, has shared some notes on how to read the Bible, prompted by a question from his daughter. If you'd like to find out more, you can read online or download at this link

For your diary

Working with Christ Group meets on Saturday morning 21 January, 10:00 in the church hall
Growing some vitamins on 22 January
Church lunch on 29 January after the service
For more information on events and activities, please contact
And it helps with catering if you can let us know if you plan to come to the lunch, thanks.

Prayers for Ukraine

Your prayers are still needed. Prayers and other resources are available on the Diocesan website
We are entirely self-funded and we have cut back our expenses as much as possible; but we still need a regular income.
We're grateful to everyone who continues to support the church and its work, which goes beyond weekly services. In particular, we are thankful for some generous donations over the Christmas period, which have helped reduce our deficit. Thank you!
