International Women's Day 8 March
|
Last Sunday we celebrated the 30th anniversary of Debbie's ordination. One of her roles is as Dean of Women's Ministry and we are thankful that now, men and women priests can work side by side in many places, if not all.
|
|
It's a good time to think about today's message for International Women's Day from the Secretary-General of the United Nations.
|
|
"On International Women’s Day, we celebrate women and girls around the world, and we applaud all they have achieved in the fight for equality.
|
|
Women and girls have made great gains – demolishing barriers, dismantling stereotypes and driving progress towards a more just and equal world."
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

|

Study and discipleship groups
They meet online on Thursdays and for the next few weeks they are going to try meeting in the evening instead of in the morning: contact churchoffice@christchurchlille.fr if you'd like to join them.

Bible Study groups
Online and in-person groups take place on Wednesday evenings. For information, please contact the chaplain or church office:
