9:15: a quiet service of Holy Communion
10:30: Morning Prayer This service includes prayers for healing and renewal
and in between the two services, stay later or come early for a cup of coffee

Volunteers needed

  • Volunteers are needed to be present at the church to welcome visitors on Saturday 21 September from 14h-17h
It's the national open day for Heritage Days, and every year we welcome visitors - can you help? Please get in touch with churchoffice@christchurchlille.fr if you can be there for an hour or two.
  • Would you like to take part in our ecumenical work? We're looking for someone to represent us and join meetings at the Passerelle on Thursday mornings at 10:00 (3 October, 7 November, 5 December). More information from churchoffice@christchurchlille.fr

Dates for the diary

Put these dates in your diary now, and don't miss anything!
SEPTEMBER
  • 4 September Online ceremony 18:00 CET Three of our congregation completed the online Diocese in Europe Lay Learning course, and Bishop Robert will present Frances with a certificate during the service. Congratulations to Maggie, Solkem and Frances. You can join the next course, open to everyone interested, starting on 17 September by going to this link
  • 8 September: Blessing the backpacks. Bring your backpack, briefcase or bag to church for a blessing as we start the new academic year.
  • 14-15 September: Braderie weekend. The church will be open on Saturday 10h-16h for visits and on Sunday, there will be a service at 10:30. (No CCL braderie stall this year.)
  • 21 September: Heritage Days; the church will be open from 14h - 17h.
  • 29 September: Sunday Club starts again, welcome back!
OCTOBER
  • 6 October: Harvest festival, part of our Creationtide celebrations and followed by a church lunch
NOVEMBER
  • 10 November: Remembrance Sunday
  • 24 November: Chaplain Debbie Flach will hold her last service before she retires; followed by a celebration reception
DECEMBER
  • 15 December: Service of Nine Lessons and Carols
