Sunday 15 September: the 16th Sunday after Trinity

10:30: Holy Communion
This Sunday's readings are from Isaiah 50:4-9a and Mark 8:27-38
See this page for more information about our regular service schedule from September onwards

It's Braderie weekend. The church will be open on Saturday 10h-16h for visits and on Sunday, there will be a service at 10:30.
On Sunday morning we will sing one of everybody's favourite hymns, which comes originally from the USA but is loved around the world. Please take a moment to enjoy this wonderful massed choir in Chennai, India.

Did you know? The name of this hymn is a quote from Lamentations 3:22-23. And it's the same in both the King James' version and in the Revised Standard Version.

Volunteers needed

  • Volunteers are needed to be present at the church to welcome visitors to our Open Heritage Day on Saturday 21 September from 14h-17h This year, we celebrate connections and in particular, with all the Anglican churches in France and in the Diocese in Europe. Our congregation comes from around the world, connecting people across continents.
Thank you to those who have already volunteered. It's the national open day for Heritage Days, and every year we welcome visitors - can you help? Please get in touch with churchoffice@christchurchlille.fr if you can be there for an hour or two.
