The second Sunday of Easter

The season of Easter continues until Ascension, on 14 May.

It was wonderful to see so many people at the service last Sunday, what a joyful occasion.
|
|
Thank you to everyone who brought flowers, and welcome to all the new members of our church family.
|

|

|
In the Gospel reading this week, we hear about "Doubting" Thomas who needed to see before he could believe.
|
|
You will recognise this verse from the hymn "Just as I am"
|
|
|
Just as I am, thou wilt receive,
wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve;
because thy promise I believe,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
|
|
|

School holidays begin this weekend. We wish students, teachers and parents a restful break before the summer term begins.

Annual General Meeting
If you are on the Electoral Roll of Christ Church, you will have received an invitation to our AGM.
If you are not on the roll, you can still attend, but you'll need to get in touch to get the Zoom meeting details. And you won't be able to vote at the meeting.
But we would be delighted to see you, and you can find out more about everything that's been happening over the past year.
