In France, 1 May is a day to honour workers, and a day when we give the people we love a sprig of lily-of-the-valley, a tradition going back to the 16th century.
So please accept this image as a small token from us all here at Christ Church.

Updated news about the church building

While there has been little visible progress over the past week, an important new series of meetings took place on Thursday 30 April, and we hope to share more positive updates on this next week.
The Town Hall continues to work closely with suppliers and gather quotes for the necessary repairs. Although it may still be some time before we are back in the building, steady progress is being made behind the scenes.

Sunday services

We were delighted to gather for the first time in the aumônerie last Sunday. Our churchwardens shared the latest updates following the fire, spoke about the road ahead, and then led us in a meaningful time of prayer and praise. It was a warm and encouraging time together.
Sunday services continue in the aumônerie opposite the church. This Sunday, 3 May, we return to a more structured style of service with Morning Prayer.
As always at Christ Church, everyone is very welcome. The kettle is never far from the boil, the coffee pot is always hot and ready, and of course there will be biscuits — some even covered in chocolate!

The address is 1 rue Watteau and here's a photo.
As mentioned it's just over the road from the big blue door.
