The website Bible Gateway enables you to see any of the readings on line, and in any of 50 languages. In church, we use the NIV (UK) version.
The church calendar is on our website, and all the services and readings are shown there.
Last Sunday's sermon at the morning service was about about Graceful Giving, the first in a series. You can find a series of Bible Readings on the theme of Christian Giving at this link on our website (it's a large file, be patient, but worth waiting for!)

Works in the church hall

Please note the following changes of venue for those who usually meet in the church hall.
  • Wednesday morning Playgroup: will be meeting from now on at 22 rue Jeanne d'Arc from 10:00 until 11:15
  • Thursday morning Ladies Group: contact the organiser for details of where to meet
  • Sunday coffee after morning service: in the church from 14 October
  • Sunday evening snacks: in the church
  • Tuesday fortnightly Bible Study: in the church from 16 October
Monthly church lunch: there will be no community lunch on 4 November or on 2 December
We have had a request for help from the daughter of an Anglican chaplain in Normandy. She's looking to rent a room in Lille from the end of October until the end of December. If you have a room to rent, within easy reach of the university (not sure which one) please get in touch. She's happy to do some babysitting or help in any other way.
This is just one of the opportunities for service that are shown in the leaflet handed out in church last week. Missed it? Here's a link to the online version, and please get in touch if you think you can help.
