Sunday 5 October 2025

The 16th Sunday after Trinity
A service of Holy Communion led by the Reverend Elisabeth Dean
This week we celebrate the fruits of the earth at our Harvest Festival service; one way we do this is by sharing.

Please can you help by donating non-perishable food items and bringing them to church on 5 October.
(Or 12 October, if you can't make 5 October) List of suggestions here
They will go to the Protestant church food bank as our contribution to sharing the gifts of the earth.
Usually, the first Sunday of the month is a service of Morning Prayer, but because this is Harvest Festival, our schedule has changed slightly.

More about sharing

We are very happy to be able to support the local team of the Ligue Humanitaire, a national and international outreach organisation, by providing some storage space and a meeting place once a month.
You can read more about the organisation on their website
This item was popular last week, so we are repeating it in case you missed it

Thank you to everyone who supports Christ Church Lille, in whatever way. Of course, bills have to be paid, so regular contributions are vital, but we also value your help in the life of the church.
Your support is especially valued during this time of interregnum (in other words, while we don't have a permanent chaplain). And sincere thanks go to the Reverend Elisabeth Dean for travelling up from Paris most Sundays, rain or shine.
So please continue your giving, and your volunteering, it is much appreciated.
