Appointing a new Chaplain - an update
|
We last updated you in September, with the publication of the advertisement for the post of Chaplain here at Christ Church. After the closing date, the interview team discussed the applications with the Archdeacon and ICS. Sadly there were no candidates who were the right fit for Christ Church.
|
|
The church council will be meeting on 22 October and will discuss the next steps.
|
|
For now, we are delighted that the Reverend Elisabeth Dean is continuing to lead our services of Holy Communion, and that we have fully trained Congregational Worship Leaders to support worship at Morning Prayer on the 1st Sunday in the month.
|
|
Both the Archdeacon and the Director of the ICS are working closely with us to make sure our mission here in Lille continues in the best possible way during this time of interregnum.
|
If you have any questions, please speak to a member of the church council. But we will keep you informed of developments.
