The Second Sunday in Advent

A service of Morning Prayer
Join us this Sunday and every week as we celebrate this season of Advent and Christmas.
Everyone is welcome.
We lit the first candle of Advent, celebrating Hope, last Sunday.
It's advent, so it's time to put up the Christmas tree - scroll down for a link with photos and a video!
And scroll down too for a link on how to make paper chain decorations.
This Sunday, we will light the candle of Peace.

Advent

Please give generously by donating for an advent calendar or candles. We rely on your donations, so thank you.
Not many left, don't miss out!

Putting up the Christmas Tree: Advent is here

TheBishop's Advent Appeal this year is for those suffering in Gaza.
Read here about the appeal and how to donate if. you would like to contribute.
Using the QR code or the link below, you can donate by Pay Pal or credit card; you do not need a PayPal account, PayPal just acts as a payment gateway.
Thank you to everyone who supports Christ Church Lille, in whatever way. Of course, bills have to be paid, so regular contributions are vital, but we also value your help in the life of the church.
Your support is especially valued during this time of interregnum (in other words, while we don't have a permanent chaplain). And sincere thanks go to the Reverend Elisabeth Dean for travelling up from Paris most Sundays, rain or shine.
So please continue your giving, and your volunteering, it is much appreciated.
