Creationtide Ecumenical Service is tomorrow

Saturday 29 September 2018 at 18:00: Christ Church Lille together with the Old Catholics will be hosting a joint service. Monseigneur Hérouard will be present as will members of the other churches in Lille; do join us as we celebrate together.

What's happening in October

2 October 8 pm the next fortnightly Bible Study will take place in the church hall. Contact biblestudyen@christchurchlille.fr for more details.
7 October is Harvest Festival, see more below. There will also be a Bring and Share lunch following the morning service
9 October the first session of the informal Bible Study hosted by Stéphanie and Mathieu. Contact informalbiblestudy@christchurchlille.fr
13 October the International Singers are in concert in Lille, commemorating the liberation of the city. Details here.
13 October there will be a choir concert in Christ Church at 7:30 pm (no details for now)
15 October the heating works start in the church hall. The hall and the kitchen will be unavailable until15 December: more details next week
21 October our "Coffee in-between" the two morning services starts again
21 October is the first of the preparation sessions for Confirmations and Baptisms when the Bishop will be will us. Contact Debbie Flach if you are ready to take part (you need to attend all four sessions).

On 7 October we shall be giving thanks for all God's gifts at our Harvest Festival

Your gifts of non-perishable items (for example, tins, packets, oil, condiments, etc) will be most welcome.
And if you like, you can contribute to a fund we are setting up to help ABEJ support migrant unaccompanied minors to travel to school. A collection box will be available, or you can send your donation to the Treasurer.

We are delighted to welcome the Snowdown Colliery Welfare Male Voce Choir for a concert at Christ Church at 7:30 pm. Entrance free, but there will be the opportunity to donate something after the concert. Click the image for a full-sized poster.

Remembrance Sunday: 11 November, and the 100th anniversary of the Armistice
