This Sunday is International Women's Day
|
|
Europe has made huge advances in equal rights for all, but sadly, the rights of women and girls around the world fall far short. Laws, politics, funding, education - did you know that the United Nations says that no nation has fully closed the gap between men and women?
|
|
Of course, many men suffer too, and Christians believe in equal rights for everyone. But this Sunday, please spare a prayer for women and girls around the world. We pray for justice and equality and a special prayer for those facing practices like child marriage and genital mutilation.

And while we are talking about Annual Meetings, our Outreach association, the Solidarity Anglicane de Lille, will be holding its annual meeting on 23 March. Join us to find out all about the charities and organisations we support.
