Services

There is a service of Holy Communion every week on Sunday at 10:30 am

We love SundayClub

The next Sunday Club will be this coming Sunday, 27 February, and they'll be talking about how Jesus calmed the storm on the boat. More about Sunday Club on this page of our website.
So bring your children along, all welcome!
Meanwhile, here's the link to this week's children's activity sheet: The Best is yet to come

World Day of Prayer

This ecumenical service has been prepared by churches in England, N Ireland and Wales; you are very welcome to join in, full details at this link
It will be held at the Protestant church on Friday 4 March.

One of the hymns that will be used in the service is "The Day thou gavest Lord is ended" so we thought it would be good to share as this week's YouTube hymn. We hope you enjoy it (it's an old favourite).

Please leave a comment on YouTube, we'd love to hear from you!
We are entirely self-funded and we have cut back our expenses as much as possible; but we still need a regular income.
We're grateful to everyone who continues to support the church and its work, which goes beyond weekly services. Thank you!
If you're not already a regular giver, please consider whether you can give a little each month. Small amounts are just as welcome as large ones, really!
It's easy to give, here's a link to our "Giving" page

Door

You may be wondering why the blue door down to the hall is in such a sorry state. Sadly, a combination of factors has meant that the Town Hall hasn't been able to restore the door yet.
The restoration was planned before the pandemic hit and stopped non-vital works, and also before building works started next door. The damage caused by the building works (not just the door, but the wall, the roof, the pavement ...) is currently the subject of claims against the company: this means that nothing can be done until the legal situation has been sorted out. But we are assured that it's on the list of things to do as soon as possible.
