The lily of the valley are just coming out in time for May Day. The tradition in France of giving it to loved ones is said to date back to the 16th century when King Charles IX was given a sprig on May Day as a symbol of luck and prosperity.
|
|
Whatever the reason, it's a nice idea to celebrate spring time with these lovely scented flowers. And of course, showing people that you care about them!

Welcome to all children aged 3 - 11: Sunday Club is happening this Sunday 1 May, so do bring your children along to join the fun and learning.

We are entirely self-funded and we have cut back our expenses as much as possible; but we still need a regular income.
|
