The month of May is a special time of year for Christ Church Lille. Look out for an extra newsletter with information about why it's special, and why you are special to us.

We held our AGM on Tuesday evening, and it was good to hear about activities starting up again, and plans for the future - read on for some dates for your diary.
|
|
At the AGM, we unanimously offered congratulations to Monseigneur Ulrich on his appointment as Archbishop of Paris after 14 years as Archbishop of Lille; we have benefited in particular from his ecumenical work here in Lille and wish him every blessing in his future ministry.

For your diary
- Weekly services of Holy Communion continue in church every Sunday at 10:30
- 26 May Ascension Day (a special video service)
- 4 June (afternoon) visit to Ypres, more details next week and we will be car-sharing for those with no transport
- 5 June Pentecost, two baptisms and a celebration of HM Queen's Platinum Jubilee

We are entirely self-funded and we have cut back our expenses as much as possible; but we still need a regular income.
|
|
We're grateful to everyone who continues to support the church and its work, which goes beyond weekly services. Thank you!
