Christ Church Lille Newsletter 17 June 2022

As some of you know, our chaplain Debbie couldn't be with us last Sunday, as a close family bereavement meant she had to travel to UK urgently: our thoughts and prayers are with her and her family. We are grateful to all the people who offered to help, both locally and in other chaplaincies and we thank Suzanne, our Licensed Lay Reader for leading services.

This Sunday there will be a service of Morning Prayer in church but there will be no service on video; videos will be back as soon as feasible.

Summer Church Lunch
It's wonderful to be able to get together once again, and we're organising a church lunch on 26 June, after the morning service.

No tearoom this year, we don't have a licence, but we are going to try something new, so we need volunteers. More information next week, but see these posters, and please get in touch if you can help over the weekend of 3-4 September.

We are entirely self-funded and we have cut back our expenses as much as possible; but we still need a regular income.
|
|
We're grateful to everyone who continues to support the church and its work, which goes beyond weekly services. Thank you!
