It's November, summertime has finished, and in a few weeks it will be the start of Advent. The days fly by, but please take a look at what's upcoming here at Christ Church.
We will soon be asking for contributions to our Christmas market - mince pies, Christmas cakes and puddings, Christmas biscuits, mulled wine ... If you would like to help, please get in touch. We can provide recipes if you need them, just reply to this newsletter!

Safeguarding Sunday and Potting Shed 20 November

Protecting vulnerable people is at the heart of the Christian message of justice: Safeguarding Sunday is one way we show we take it seriously.
We also care about protecting the earth, so after the service, we will be offering the opportunity to pot up a spring bulb in a recycled tin can, for you to take home.
Anyone who can donate a (washed) tin can, please bring it along to church.

Prayers for Ukraine

Please don't forget that this conflict is ongoing and your prayers are still needed. Prayers and other resources are available on the Diocesan website
Did you know our income is currently about €1000 per month less than our outgoings?
We are entirely self-funded and we have cut back our expenses as much as possible; but we still need a regular income.
We're grateful to everyone who continues to support the church and its work, which goes beyond weekly services. Thank you!
If you're not already a regular giver, please consider whether you can give a little each month. Small amounts are just as welcome as large ones, really!
It's easy to give, here's a link to our "Giving" page
