Christ Church Lille Newsletter 11 November 2022

Summer Holiday Photo Collage-2
Dear reader

At the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of the eleventh month – we will remember them.

The Armistice, an agreement to end the fighting of the First World War as a prelude to peace negotiations, began at 11am on 11 November 1918.
Today we mark Armistice Day and on Sunday, we hold a special service to remember those who lost their lives on active service in all conflicts, not just WWI.
You can read more on this page on our website (including how to donate)

Did you know our income is currently about €1000 per month less than our outgoings?
We are entirely self-funded and we have cut back our expenses as much as possible; but we still need a regular income.
We're grateful to everyone who continues to support the church and its work, which goes beyond weekly services. Thank you!
If you're not already a regular giver, please consider whether you can give a little each month. Small amounts are just as welcome as large ones, really!
It's easy to give, here's a link to our "Giving" page
