This Sunday we celebrate Pentecost - please come to church with flame-coloured clothing if you can.
To celebrate our different languages, please bring your Bible in a language you speak (except English) and be ready to read one verse from Acts 2:1-21.

2-3 September 2023 Braderie de Lille (helpers needed!)
You might think it's early but we are already planning our presence at the Braderie de Lille in September. Can you help? We need people to prepare, to plan and of course to be available over the event too. Get in touch braderie@christchurchlille or churchoffice@christchurchlille to see how you might participate. It's a major fund-raising event for us, so really important that we give 100% effort. Thank you for your help.
For more information on events and activities, please contact churchoffice@christchurchlille.fr.

Official visit by Bishop Robert and Archdeacon Peter.

Can you help the catering team who are preparing lunch? We need people to make mixed salads and to help on the day. Get in touch if you would like to contribute to making sure we offer a warm CCL welcome to our visitors.
And continue to pray for those being confirmed or baptised that day.

Prayers for Ukraine

Please remember to pray for all affected by this conflict.
We are entirely self-funded and we have cut back our expenses as much as possible; but we still need a regular income.
We're grateful to everyone who continues to support the church and its work, which goes beyond weekly services.
