Our doors at Christ Church may be closed, but let’s remain open as a church. Each evening at 7pm let’s unite in prayer. Set phone alarms, Alexa reminders, write yourself an old-fashioned note – as a reminder to stop whatever you are doing for a moment of united prayer in the face of the COVID-19 threat.
Pray for those who are sick, for the scared, for the authorities both local & national, for doctors and nurses, for researchers and for our city of Lille. The list is endless. As Christians, we believe prayer has power, so we seek help from the Lord.
As a church, let’s look beyond our present difficulties and look out for opportunities to share the hope that we have in Jesus.
