It is with great sadness that we have learned of the death of Pope Francis. His twelve years as leader of the Roman Catholic Church have been marked by a humility, warmth of personality and commitment to social justice and environmental issues that were the hallmarks of the Saint whose name he took on being elected Pope. His strong Christian faith and attractive manner of expressing it endeared him to so many of other traditions and of none. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
