Here’s all the information you need about what’s happening at Christ Church this autumn
Diary dates for September 2025
- Braderie de Lille weekend 6-7 September: call in to our bric-à-brac stall at the church, and volunteer to help if you can
- On the Sunday morning of the Braderie, there will be a Service of the Word at 10:30
- Sunday 14 September: Holy Communion service and “Blessing the backpacks”. Bring your bag, backpack or briefcase to church for a blessing as we start the new school year
- Saturday 20 September: the church will be open from 14:00 to 17:00 for visits during the Lille Heritage Days weekend
- Sundays 21 and 28 September: Holy Communion service at 10:30

- Sunday 5 October: Harvest Festival
- Sunday 26 October: Summer time ends and the clocks go back
- Sunday 2 November: All Saints’ Sunday
- Sunday 9 November: Remembrance Sunday
- Sunday 16 September: Safeguarding Sunday
- Sunday 30 November: 1st Sunday of Advent
- Sunday 14 December: Service of Nine Lessons and Carols
- Thursday 25 December: Christmas Day family service
