We are delighted to be able to announce that a new chaplain has been appointed to lead us here at Christ Church Lille. We welcome Reverend Vivian Sockett.
Vivian is currently serving as Curate at St Michael’s in Paris, so she is fluent in French and has lived in France for a number of years. She brings with her a wealth of experience in ministry, mission and working with international Christian communities, and we are all looking forward to getting to know her and her husband, and discovering all that God has in store for us together.
Vivian will officially begin with us on 1 October, and her licensing service will take place on Saturday 10 October. The licensing marks the beginning of her formal appointment and ministry among us, and we’ll share more details about the service nearer the date.
Please keep Vivian, Geoff and their family, and the whole Christ Church Lille community in your prayers as we prepare for this exciting new chapter in the life of our church.
