Remembrance Sunday is the Sunday closest to 11 November – Armistice Day – when we remember the members of the armed forces who lost their lives in the course of duty. This year, it falls on 10 November and there will be a Remembrance Service at Christ Church at 10.30 am on that Sunday.
Poppies are available in the church if you would like to contribute to the work of the Royal British Legion, which supports the armed forces community – serving and ex-serving men and women, and their families. If you would like to find out more about what they do, you can visit the RBL website.
