After the fire
The church council have been working hard to ensure that even if the building is damaged, the church community is alive and well and continues. For new members elected on Monday, it has indeed been a rude introduction to the work that goes on behind the scenes! Thanks to everyone for their help.
We are grateful for all the messages of support, from other churches, friends and colleagues, from all the well-wishers. They are of great comfort in these difficult times.
Sunday morning services
With thanks to the Diocese of Lille, we are able to use the aumônerie opposite the church in rue Watteau.
There will be a service there at 10:30 on Sunday morning from now until the end of May, then we will see what the situation is.
- Sunday 26 April: readings prayers and reflections, and a time for fellowship over coffee
- Sunday 3 May: Morning Prayer
- Sunday 10 May: Holy Communion
Fire Fund
In response to generous offers, we have set up a Fire Fund site for donations.
There is no obligation to contribute to the site’s running costs.
